Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! Your wedding day will be one of the most memorable days in your life and we are very honored that you have selected our team at The Yankee Clipper and Clipper's Mate to help you prepare for this special day. We have a very knowledgeable and talented group that will do everything possible to make this an enjoyable experience for you and your wedding party.

There is a lot of preparation and planning that goes into a wedding, and we would like to help make your scheduling with us as stress free as possible. We want to inform you about all of the options we offer to help get you and your wedding party ready for the big day. Not only can we make your hair look gorgeous, but we can also transform you from head to toe so you look like you just stepped out of a bridal magazine.

We offer many spa services including manicures, pedicures, make-up, body wraps, waxing, facials and artificial nails. All of these services will help enhance your natural beauty and make you feel wonderful and prepared for your special day.

There are a few things to consider regarding your wedding hairstyle; we cannot stress enough the importance of a trial session. We suggest you come in within a month of your wedding day so you and your stylist can try different options for your style. It's important to bring your veil and headpiece or any other hair accessories not only so the stylist can determine placement and the best way to secure it to your hair, but you will have a good idea what your hair will look like the day of the wedding.

Be sure to come to both your trial and wedding day appointments with your hair washed, dried and with your choice of styling preparation (mousse, gel, etc.). If you need to prepare differently for the day of the wedding, your stylist will let you know at your trial session. It is very beneficial for you to arrive wearing a button up shirt or something easy to remove over your veil or headpiece. Dress comfortable and come ready to be pampered.

We haven't forgotten about your husband-to-be either! He also needs to look and feel his best. We suggest he get his "wedding haircut" the week before the wedding and, if need be, stop in the day before for clean up on his neck and around his ears. We also offer nail grooming for men simply to get his nails and hands looking their best before sporting his new wedding band. This can be a great service for the two of you to do together the day before the wedding.

You may set up your appointments with us as early as you are comfortable with. It helps us when you call to know what time you and your party need to be out of the salon and the number of people that would like an appointment. We are happy to adjust the appointments any time before the wedding day. We will accommodate any changes the best that we can and please feel free to call or stop in as frequently as you want in order to feel at ease. All we ask is that if anyone in your party needs to cancel their appointment, to let us know at least 24 hours in advance or we you will be billed for their missed appointment.

For wedding parties of four or more we may require a credit card to hold your appointments.

Getting married is one of the biggest events of your life and you deserve to treat yourself in order to prepare for this right of passage.
